Root Rot gets rid of the dead roots. After using RootX the roots are dead in a sewer line they decay. This is a slow process. If Root Rot is used after the application of RootX it speeds the decay of roots in sewer lines with a blend of tree decay molds and growth factors to get rid of woody tissue in a sewer line. Wood Composition Wood cells are made up of 3 primary substances lignin, cellulose and hemicellulose. The cells are connected by lignin. The 1st and 3rd cell walls are made up of lignin, too. However, the center cell wall is made of cellulose and hemicellulose. This overall cell structure is significant for the woods resistance to decay and colonization patters of [fungus]. Lignin is the most complex of the 3 main compounds in wood. Because the cells are divided by lignin and the walls are made of lignin, decay of wood can be a very slow process. Molds and Fungi Mold and Fungi is all around us and a vital part of the ecosystem in which we live. Most molds are innocuous and serve to recycle waste. They take organic compounds like wood and decay them away recycling the resources so that other organic compounds can grow. This is a very important service. Otherwise all the resources a tree used in making wood would be non-renewable. Wood Decay Wood decay normally gets a bad rap. However, it is an important process in nature. Wood decay happens on dead wood. The mold and fungi grow and release enzymes that break down the chemical structures of the wood. All of this is a natural process. The natural process is happening all the time all around us. The natural process is great. However, it's slow. Tree stumps are not an uncommon site. Just like tree stumps exist above ground, roots persist below ground. Because of this we made Root Rot. Root Rot takes the natural process and provides the growth accelerants to substantially speed up the process of wood decay.
